The environment is also important as same as human life. We strive for our lives but we keep on destroying our nature. There are very fewer people who stand against this environmental destruction while some people think that others will do.

Well, that’s not good our environment and doing that we are putting human lives in danger too.

The Real Forest Man of India

The Man Jadav Molai Payeng from Assam has created a sensational history by showing what a real forest should be. Molai was born in a forest area in Assam in 1963. He is very poor and lives in a small hut in the forest. The only source of income for his livelihood is to sell milk. At the age of 16, a sudden cyclone has washed out all the trees in the forest and there is no tree left near is the house. Moreover, there is a loss of so many animals and birds which made Molai go down on knees. The whole situation put him in so much pain when the rest of the people stayed normal as if there is nothing happened.

Molai requested everyone for help to redeveloping all that forest. No one showed up their interest. Therefore, Molai decided to save his forest on his own and have promised himself to reform the forest. He started planting trees every day. He continued to plant trees for 1 year daily. Over the course of several decades, he planted and tended trees.

After that, the forest encompasses an area of about 1,360 acres/ 550 hectares. Be amazing?

This man is something. The desire to save our environment was so great in this mind.

Achievement of Molai Payeng

If we go, Step by step we can reach greater heights. We might think what he achieved doing that, he saved our planet and helped us along with himself in having our nature alive. Hard work and good things never go unnoticed, Molai received Padma Sri Award by President of India at the age of 52.

Did you ever imagine that one poor milk seller can receive Padma Sri Award? It’s got possible because of focused work and for a good desire. He is called ‘The Real forest man of India’.

So, guys, it’s not too late to get inspired by these things. We all need to take action on saving our environment to save our planet.
